Piccini Origenes Italicae Primitivo de Puglia is an Italian red wine made from 100% Primitivo grapes, from the Puglia IGT wine region, Italy.
The Primitivo grapes grow across the beautiful southern Italian region of Apulia and are named for their distinctive characteristic – early ripening. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 3 months in large cement tanks at the end of production.
Aroma and taste: distinctly cherry wrapped in chocolate and cloves, vanilla, cocoa
Finish: expansive with notes of sweet licorice and figs
Ideal wine to pair with roasted meats, game, and meat sauces. Serve in wide glasses at a temperature of 18-20 °C.
