Piccini Collezione Oro Chianti Superiore DOCG (vintage 2019) is an Italian red wine made from 85% Sangiovese grapes and 15% Merlot, from the Chianti Superiore DOCG wine region, Tuscany, Italy.
The name of the collection "Collezione Oro" (translated as Golden Collection) is reserved for wines of extraordinary quality and perfect balance from modern Tuscany. Passion, tradition, and know-how are the key ingredients that the Piccini winery brand uses to produce its wines at a high artistic level.

In the production of this wine, great care is taken to ensure the perfect ripeness of the grapes and their protection from oxidation. The wine is fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks using gentle extraction techniques that allow for a range of flavor notes and light tannins from the grape skins. The wine then ages to perfection for 8 months in concrete tanks.
