Piccini Origenes Italicae Puglia IGT Appassimento is an Italian red wine made from 20% Primitivo grapes and 80% Negroamaro, which grows almost exclusively in the southern region of Puglia. This red wine is a specialty of the Salento peninsula (located at the heel of the famous Italian "boot").
Color: ruby red with orange reflections
Aroma: intense and complex with notes of ripe black fruit, raisins, spices, and vanilla
Taste: dry wine with good texture and soft tannins
This wine pairs perfectly with spicy pasta, red meat, and aged cheeses. It is recommended to serve at a temperature of 17 °C.
