Balan Merlot is a red, dry, Italian wine. It comes from vineyards in the Lison Pramaggiore and Grave del Friuli areas with different geological compositions and two types of soil: clay and calcareous. The vintage is 2022. The grape variety is 100 % Merlot.
The grapes are gently pressed and, after maceration, approximately 10 % of the wine is left to mature in small oak barrels. The other part rests in steel tanks in the meantime. After a few months, the two parts are combined and left to age together for 30 days before bottling. Further refinement is carried out in bottle.
We recommend serving it with smoked meats, stews, roasted white and red meats and also with game.

Balan Vecchio Grion Rosso Veneto is a red, Italian wine, vintage 2018. It is produced in the vineyards of Ambrogio di Trebaseleghe, a vineyard near Balan, in an area that has always been known as "Grion".
The wines are vinified and aged separately. Fermentation takes place in cement barrels. The wine rests for 18 months in barriques barrels (about a third of which are new). Barrels deemed unsuitable are discarded before the wine is unified. After the merger, the wine rests in the tanks for at least 1 month. This is followed by 3 months of bottle ageing, but we recommend that this ageing is continued.
Elegance is the best quality. In the wine you can smell intense alcohol, tannins, acidity. Correspondence between aromas and perfumes. Intensity and aggressiveness on the palate.
Recommended to serve with roasted red meats, game (also with sauces) and with aged cheeses.

Balan Vie del Conte Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is a red, dry, Italian wine. It comes from vineyards in the Montepulciano D'Abruzzo DOC area, the grape variety is 100 % Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.
Montepulciano is harvested from the beginning of September to the end of October. Its carefully selected bunches are de-stoned, crushed and then subjected to alcoholic maceration for 10 to 12 days at a temperature not exceeding 26 °C. The fermentation separates the wine from the skins and stores it in steel, where fermentation takes place. Refining takes place first in steel tanks and then in the bottle.
We recommend serving it with roasted and stewed meats, cured meats and aged cheeses.

Balan Merlot Veneto is a red, dry, Italian wine. It comes from the vineyards of S. Ambrogio di Trebaseleghe, a vineyard near Balan, in an area that has always been known as 'Grion'. Loamy soils with large layers, extremely compact and clayey. The wine is the 2021 vintage. The grape variety is 100 % Merlot.
It is two different clones of Merlot vinified together. Fermentation in cement tanks. Aged for 6 months in barriques (one third of the barrels are new, the others have been used two or three times before). Three months of maturation in bottle. It is recommended to continue this maturation.
Recommended to serve with roasted red meat, game, pasta with meat sauce and aged cheese.

Balan Cabernet Franc is a red, dry, Italian wine. It comes from vineyards in the DOC Grave del Friuli area, which is characterised by medium-heavy clay soils. The vintage is 2021. The grape variety is 100 % Cabernet Franc.
The skins of the grapes are macerated for 5 to 6 days. Refining takes place in cement tanks and lasts at least 6 months. Immediately afterwards, the wine is bottled.
We recommend serving it with red meat, roasts, game and aged cheeses.

Balan Vie del Conte Cabernet is a red, dry, Italian wine. It comes from vineyards in the Veneto region. The grape variety is 100 % Cabernet.
Once the grapes arrive in the cellar, the best bunches are selected and pressed. The juice is macerated in steel and cement tanks. During fortification, the temperature is regulated by humidifying the tanks externally with water. Fermentation begins spontaneously. The wine is refined in steel tanks for varying periods depending on the characteristics of the vintage in order to achieve a balance between the different grape varieties before bottling.
We recommend serving it with red meat, poultry, game and aged cheeses.
