Balan Merlot 2022 Discontinued

Balan Merlot is a red, dry, Italian wine. It comes from vineyards in the Lison Pramaggiore and Grave del Friuli areas with varying geological compositions and two types of soil: clay and calcareous. The vintage of the wine is 2022. The grape variety is 100% Merlot.

The grapes are gently pressed, and after maceration, approximately 10% of the wine is aged in small oak barrels. The second part rests in steel tanks. After a few months, both parts are blended and allowed to mature together for 30 days before bottling. Further refinement occurs in the bottle.

We recommend serving with cold cuts, stewed meat, roasted white and red meats, and also with game.
