Balan Vecchio Grion Rosso Veneto is a red, Italian wine, vintage 2018. It is produced in the vineyards of Ambrogio di Trebaseleghe, vineyards around the Balan company, in an area that has always been known as "Grion".
The wines are vinified and aged separately. Fermentation takes place in cement barrels. The wine rests for 18 months in barrique barrels (approximately one third of which are new). Before blending the wine, barrels deemed unsuitable are discarded. After blending, the wine rests in tanks for at least 1 month. Following this phase, there is a 3-month bottle refinement, but we recommend continuing this refinement.
Elegance is the best quality. The wine has intense alcohol, tannins, acidity. Correspondence between aromas and perfumes. Intensity and aggressiveness on the palate.
We recommend serving with roasted red meat, game (also with sauces), and aged cheese.
Color: intense ruby with violet reflections
Aroma and taste: acidity, tannins, fruit
