It is made from bourbon vanilla, which comes from the island of Réunion, juniper from Macedonia, angelica root from Greenland, cardamom from Guatemala, ginger from Nigeria and cinnamon from China. The name gin comes from Edmond Albius, who pioneered the method of rapid pollination of vanilla flowers. The bottle is closed with a cork stopper.
