Description
Whisky Benromach Organic 2012 is essentially a classic Scottish single malt whisky from the Speyside region. However, it is special because it is the first certified whisky made from organically grown barley. The whisky matured in previously unused virgin oak casks and features sweet notes of malt, barley with spices, banana, coffee, and cocoa.
Color: amber gold
Aroma: sweet vanilla, ripe fruit, citrus peel, toasted malt, and green apples
Taste: creamy, lightly spicy, buttery candies, coffee beans, dried bananas, and a subtle herbal base
Finish: medium body and a long aftertaste with notes of anise and cocoa
