Description
Newly released 10-year-old whiskey from Gordon and MacPhail's Benromach distillery. She matured for the first nine years in 4/5 bourbon kegs and 1/5 sherry kegs, and then a year in sherry kegs.
Aroma: Dry, barley, strong malt and oak aroma. Dry pine, fruit. The soul of a boy. Over time, you will smell sweet spices and a hint of prune from a sherry barrel and maple caramel.
Taste: Barley, slightly herbal, slightly fruity, grassy. Strong malty taste, ground ginger.
Conclusion: Temptingly hot-sweet. Ginger, dry sherry, after a while almost hop.
Overall impression: Great whiskey, its maturity lies in its 10 years and the sherry finish has achieved miracles.

A new product has appeared on the Slovak market that is not afraid to go against the grain. Jon Rye Wanted is a brand new whiskey from Nicolaus that does not try to compete with Scottish or Irish legends with their history and myths.
