This exclusive edition of whisky Benromach Cask Strength Vintage 2014 Batch 03 belongs to the Contrasts series and offers a strong experience straight from the cask. Distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2024 at 60.6% ABV, it matured exclusively in first-fill bourbon and sherry casks.
The nose reveals rich aromas of fruity pastries, stewed plums, orange marmalade and black pepper with a subtle hint of smoke and anise.
On the palate, it showcases creaminess combined with stewed plums, Seville oranges, black pepper, oak, and a herbal undertone. The finish is long and full – with notes of smoke, chocolate, charred oak and a gentle spicy finish.
