Ardbeg 10 Year Old is a whisky whose colour is reminiscent of a fine sherry. There is smoke, saltiness and iodine dryness on the palate, but at the same time a slight sweetness.
The finish is heavier, reverberating iodine. Ardbeg 10 is regarded worldwide as the most peaty, curvaceous and complex single malt whisky of them all. Yet it doesn't flaunt the peat, rather it gives way to the natural sweetness of the malt to create a perfectly balanced whisky.
