Balvenie 12 Year Old Sweet Toast of American Oak
This is a whisky from the Balvenie Stories series, designed by malt master - Kelsey McKechnie. Balvenie 12 Year Old Sweet Toast of American Oak is first matured for 12 years in classic ex-bourbon barrels, and then undergoes a few months of finishing in virgin oak barrels from Kentucky, which are intensively roasted twice - once in Kentucky and then again at Balvenie's distillery.
The nose reveals sweet notes of caramel, marzipan, vanilla, candied fruit, along with spices such as clove and cinnamon. The palate is smooth and creamy - it opens with candied orange and lemon peel, vanilla caramel and buttery honey, which deepens into a layer of brown sugar, hazelnuts and warm oak spices.
Ideal for clean Enjoy at room temperature — its harmonious profile needs nothing extra. However, if you want to highlight the fruit and spice layers, a few drops of water are enough. Suitable as a soft, elegant dram for moments of relaxation and as a great gift.
The bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 43% with a volume of 0.7 l and are delivered in gift tubes.
