Description
An unusual limited edition whisky release from the Scottish island of Islay! Ardbeg 8 Years Old is a single malt whisky with the surname "For Discussion." It is a rare, smoky and unfiltered whisky partially matured in sherry casks.
An intense, bold and vibrant profile was designed to challenge the most adventurous whisky fans. It's a whisky that has a youthful vigour and a smoky depth with notes of coal and creosote. Green notes of fennel and celery can be gently smelled in it, intermingling with classic wood smoke. Ardbeg 8 Years Old was made to provoke discussion and maybe to disrupt for a little the old familiar flavours in the whisky world.
