Vieux Sajous 5 Year Old 2019 + Free Gin Sul
Vieux Sajous 5 Year Old 2019 is a limited edition rum from the Chelo distillery in Haiti, led by Michel Sajous. This rum was distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2024, aging 5 years in tropical conditions. Its alcohol content is 58.3%.
It is made from 100% juice of Cristalline variety sugar cane, grown on a 30-hectare plantation in the Saint Michel de l'Attalaye area.
The fermentation was natural, using native yeasts, lasting 5 to 8 days. It is distilled using traditional methods with fire and distillation equipment.
Aging takes place in barrels that previously contained rums from Hampden, Mount Gay, Bielle, Caroni, whisky from the Benriach distillery, and bourbon. The aging occurred in the Distillerie de Port-au-Prince warehouses in Haiti.
Bottles are delivered in clean and stylish gift cartons.
A breeze from Portugal is coming! Transport yourself to the wild coast of Vincentina and enjoy a refreshing Gin Tonic under the blazing sun. Botanicals sourced from Portugal and distilled in the famous German distillery in Hamburg. This is Gin Sul.
The juniper distillate is created in a small, handcrafted, copper distillation apparatus. All alcoholic vapors must pass through a metal sieve containing herbs.
Cold, clear, and soft water from Lüneburg Heath, Portuguese lemons the size of grapefruits, juniper, fresh rosemary, and the oily resin from the herb cistus (rock rose) make GIN SUL exceptional. A hint of the Portuguese Atlantic coast is filled into typical white clay bottles, which protect the gin from light and heat.
