Topoľčianky Noria 2024

White semi-dry wine Topoľčianky Noria is a selection from grapes, vintage 2024. It comes from the wine region Strekov within the Nitra wine-growing area, where the terroir and geography provide ideal conditions for modern Slovak varietal wines.

The production of this wine begins with hand harvesting of the Noria variety, bred by Alena Foltánová from Riesling and Semillon, with genetic research also reflecting elements of Gewürztraminer and the Ezerjó variety.

After maceration and fermentation in a controlled environment, the wine is stabilized to preserve its freshness and varietal character. Topoľčianky is among the leading producers in the area, with an innovative winemaking approach and extensive investments in their own vineyards.

In aroma, the wine shows refined freshness – citrus notes of raspberry and grapefruit intertwined with floral undertones and subtle minerality.

The taste is harmonious, well-balanced between sweetness and acidity, with layers of green apple, pear, and effervescence, leading to a fresh fruity finish with a long aftertaste.

This is a wine that excels on its own as well as in combination with light dishes such as soft cheeses or fish.
