Tomintoul 2006 15 Year Old Port Cask Finish

Tomintoul 2006 15 Year Old Port Cask Finish is an exceptional limited edition single malt whisky from Speyside, created under the supervision of Master Distiller Robert Fleming. This whisky was distilled in 2006 and matured in American oak barrels previously used for bourbon, then finished in carefully selected Tawny port wine casks from Portugal.

Only 9,762 bottles of this edition were produced, making it an attractive collectible piece and an ideal gift for lovers of quality whisky.

The port casks impart a rich and fruity character to the whisky, beautifully complementing the typical smooth style of the Tomintoul distillery, known as “the gentle dram.” The result is a harmonious combination of elegance and complexity.

The nose reveals enticing notes of stewed fruit, cinnamon pastries, candied cherries, and dark chocolate, complemented by subtle spicy accents. The palate is full and layered, with tones of roasted strawberries, rhubarb, and vanilla cream intertwining with nougat, almonds, and cocoa.

The finish is long and warming, with hints of nuts, coffee cake, wild berries, and dark chocolate.

The whisky is non chill-filtered and has no added color (natural colour), preserving its authentic character. Bottled at 46% alcohol, it offers a full and elegant tasting experience.
