Tomatin Legacy

Scotch single malt whisky Tomatin Legacy matures in virgin oak casks and ex-bourbon casks. Because it is produced in the Highland region, it is made from high-quality grains and pure spring water, ensuring that you will taste a great, authentic flavor of whisky in your glass.

This whisky does not have an age statement (NAS). It is traditionally distilled from malted barley and water from local Tomatin springs. For aging, bourbon casks and so-called virgin oak casks are used – combining the influence of new oak and the character of bourbon casks.

The aroma reveals a sweet character – vanilla pods, white chocolate, marshmallows, exotic notes (pineapple), citrus (lime, lemon), and a gentle sweetness of malt.

On the palate, the whisky is smooth, creamy, with the sweetness of honey, fruity notes (pear, citrus), a lightly spiced touch, and a subtle oak background. The finish is clean, bright, and refreshing, with a gentle spicy finish.

It is best enjoyed neat, or with a drop of water, which can help release the fruity and vanilla notes. This whisky has a softer character, making it suitable for everyday sipping. Due to its lightness, it can also be used in lighter whisky cocktails, where we want the whisky to complement gracefully, not dominate.
