Description
The GlenAllachie Cuvée Cask Finish 9 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky showcases a great cask selection and finishing process. The spirit was distilled in 2012. It was then matured in bourbon casks.
Master Distiller Billy Walker carefully selected four different types of wine barrels for the secondary maturation. Two from the Languedoc and Recioto Della Valpolicella regions and two barriques of Premier Cru Classe Chateaux. When he deemed the casks ready, he expertly blended them to create a whisky that draws flavour notes from the different types of wine and combines them into an exceptional flavour composition.
Once matured, the whisky is bottled at 48% alcohol. Without added colouring or chill-filtering. The bottle comes in a gift box.
