The limited edition 12-year-old Single Malt Scotch Whisky Sauternes Wine Cask Finish from GlenAllachie Distillery in Speyside matures for 10 years in ex-bourbon American oak barrels and then matures for 2 years in ex-wine Sauternes Barrique French oak barrels.
Sauternes is a French dessert wine known for its rich sweet taste. It is not filtered and has a natural color. This golden Single Malt gained its elegant tropical character from a French oak Barrique barrel. This whisky belongs to the Wine Cask series. The bottle is in a nice gift box.
