The GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Cuvee Cask Finish
To produce The GlenAllachie Wine Cask Series, the brilliant Master Distiller Billy Walker first expertly aged the spirit in the finest ex-bourbon American oak barrels and then transferred it to hand-selected European wine barrels for secondary aging. Billy added a special touch to this release by finally combining four exceptional cask wines into one unique product: the Cuvée Wine Cask Finish.
The next release, Cuvée Cask Finish, bottled this year, is a harmonious blend of whiskies matured in casks that previously aged premium red wine. The best casks were hand-selected from the Languedoc and Médoc AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée) regions of France, with additional casks from the Grattamacco and Recioto della Valpolicella regions of Italy.
This exceptional whisky is a limited edition that has been matured for a total of 10 years. Expect layers of robust red fruit and subtle spice in the whisky, along with citrus notes from this smooth but distinctive limited malt.
The bottles have been bottled at 48 % ABV and come in stylish gift boxes.
