The 12 year old Single Malt Speyside Glenrothes whisky matures exclusively in oak barrels after sherry wine, which gives it a smooth and lasting sweetness with a unique taste of vanilla, banana and cinnamon. Glenrothes is the epitome of distillery style, rich in fruit and pepper with a fresh mouthfeel and balanced balance.
Glenrothes comes from the Soleo collection. Soleo is a Spanish term and means the process of drying grapes before they are pressed. In this way, the grapes also ripen into sherry, after which the barrels are used to mature Glenrothers whisky.
