Talisker 8 Year Old Special Release 2021 is part of the prestigious Diageo Special Releases collection and represents Talisker at its wildest and most straightforward. This eight-year-old and extremely intense single malt whisky from the Scottish Isle of Skye was matured in a combination of American oak casks and was bottled at a natural cask strength of 59.7%, without chill filtration.
The flavour profile is typically Talisker - pronounced smoke, sea saltiness, sharp black pepper and citrus freshness. The young age gives the whisky energy and ferocity, while the high alcohol content brings a powerful structure and a long finish. An ideal choice for island whisky fans and collectors of limited editions.
