This award winning Ledaig 18 Year Old whisky was first matured for 16 years in ex-bourbon casks and then finished for 2 years in the finest ex-sherry casks, giving it delicious sweet and fruity notes.
Like all whiskies produced at Tobermory Distillery, this whisky is unchilled and has a natural colour.
At 46,3 % ABV, this bottle is part of the core Ledaig (peated whisky) range, along with the 10-year-old Ledaig and the Ledaig Sinclair Series: Rioja Cask Finish.
Rich fruity smoky aromas, a beautiful balance of phenolics, seaweed and light creosote. Strong, rich, sherry, herbal smoke, orange peel, coffee, hints of sea salt, tobacco and white pepper.
Bottles are 0,7 l and come in gift cartons.
