The Golden slivovitz Rudolf Jelínek Vizovická Slivovitz 2015 was created by the coupling of the best varieties of the year - Stanley, Čačanská Lepotica, Katinka, and further matured on plums. The taste is sweetly fruity to honeyed, we can smell sweet prunes and a light almond aroma of pits.

The climate of the Wallachian region has favoured plums and their cultivation for centuries. Therefore, in 2003, the enthusiasts from the Jelínek distillery followed the orchard tradition and began planting their own plum orchards on the southern slope of the Vizovice valley, in the area known as Těchlov.

Today, more than 60 hectares of land have been planted with plums and more are being added every year. This is restoring some of the original character of the landscape, taking advantage of the specific local climatic conditions.

The different plum varieties are harvested separately, carefully monitored for ripeness and burnt separately. Since 2008, when the first virgin harvest of twenty-five tonnes of plums of nine varieties was harvested, a golden variant of Vizovice Slivovice R has been produced every year. Jelínek. It is created by coupling the best varieties of the year and further matured on prunes. These release a huge amount of aroma, flavour and, above all, sweetness into the slivovitz, which can be felt in every sip.

You can taste the fruits of this laborious, highly skilled and above all patient handiwork in the form of a limited edition Vizovice Slivovitz. We recommend serving it at room temperature, when its flavour and aroma develop best, it is advisable to add a piece of prune to the cup, which will further enhance the flavour of the prunes used in the ripening process.

Exactly 5 004 bottles of 50 % Vizovice Slivovitz with a volume of 0,7 l are produced each year. Golden Vizovice Slivovitz R. Jelínek is left to mature for exactly 365 days and its bottling is a small feast every year.
