Rudolf Jelínek Kostelanská Čerešňovica 2021
The second edition of cherry brandy Rudolf Jelínek Kostelanská Čerešňovica 2021 is made from hand-picked cherries of the Kordia and Regina varieties from our own orchard in Kostelany near Kroměříž. Kostelanská Čerešňovica 2021 is characterized by a pronounced flavor of fresh cherries, with a typical hint of stone. It is smooth and sweet.
Produced in a series of 1,062 bottles, each equipped with a serial number. This is a limited edition!
After more than ten years of experience with their own plum orchards, the experts from the Jelínek distillery decided to invest in apricot and cherry orchards as well. In 2014, they established a cherry orchard in Kostelany near Kroměříž.
The distillation has a long tradition in Wallachia, so it is no surprise that besides plums, late varieties of dark cherries typical for the region began to be distilled here as well. These varieties thrive at the foot of the Beskids, achieving ideal ripeness and sugar content. It is these cherry varieties that are processed using traditional recipes, while employing modern technologies.
Matured cherry mash with stones undergoes triple distillation and ages for at least one year in stainless steel tanks before bottling, allowing for the harmonization of flavors and aromas and overall "rounding out."
We recommend serving the cherry brandy at room temperature, as this allows for the full development of its flavor and aroma. The bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 42% with a volume of 0.7 l.
