Rudolf Jelínek Golden Plum Brandy in a Can
Rudolf Jelínek Slivovica Zlatá is a kosher plum brandy that is still produced today according to the original recipe of the Jelínek brothers. It was created based on the experience of producing brandy, which the Jelínek brothers began with French cognac producer Denis Mounié in 1923. The result was a production process that aimed to bring the traditional fruit distillate closer to the world-renowned cognac. The distillate of matured plum mash ages for 5 years in Czech oak barrels. This gives it a golden color, a cognac-like aroma, and a harmoniously smooth fruity taste with a pronounced woody undertone.
Rudolf Jelínek Slivovica Zlatá is an exceptional, aged distillate made from plums, which has been awarded "kosher" certification by the American Jewish organization Orthodox Union. The certificate confirms that the entire production process is carried out at the highest level of kosher standards, known as "pure," and in compliance with strict manufacturing rules. The production facility must be "koshered" before production begins, meaning it is rinsed with hot and cold water.
A rabbi personally oversees each phase of the production process, from selecting the best varieties of fully ripe plums, through handling the mash and distillation, to bottling. Fermentation and aging take place in tanks sealed by the rabbi.
The bottle is packaged in a gift tin tube.
