At the birth of the unique Rudolf Jelínek Slivovici Zlatej stood the brothers Jelínkovci and the French company Denis Mounié. Just like with white slivovice, the production begins with triple distillation of matured plum mash. However, the resulting distillate is aged in oak barrels for 3 years.

Aging in these barrels transforms the classic slivovice into a unique distillate characterized by its golden color, aroma reminiscent of cognac or brandy, and a harmoniously smooth taste of fruit with a woody undertone.
