Second varietal plum brandy Rudolf Jelínek Vizovická Slivovice variety Čačanská rodná 2021. Exceptionally released in a single year as another highly rated varietal distillate, because the quantity of each prepared plum brandy was very limited due to the harvest of that year. Only 3,322 bottles! of Čačanská rodná 2021 were bottled!

The variety Čačanská rodná is a sweet-sour plum of very good taste. The ripe fruits have a high sugar content, which is why distillates from it are among the best. It is abundantly represented in the Vizovice orchard, grown in the area called Nade Dvorem.

The climate of the Wallachian region has favored plums and their cultivation for centuries. Therefore, in 2003 enthusiasts from the Jelínek distillery revived the orchard tradition and began planting their own plum orchards on the southern slope of the Vizovice valley, in an area called Těchlov. After five years, they harvested the first crop of Vizovice plums and started a new tradition – the production of a limited series of Vizovická slivovice R. Jelínek.

Plums are always harvested by individual varieties and must also be distilled accordingly. After at least a year and a half of aging, one distillate is selected together with members of the Friends of Jelínek's Slivovice Association, which is bottled as the anniversary limited Vizovická slivovice R. Jelínek.

Čačanská rodná 2021 is a plum brandy with a pronounced almond-bitter taste of the stones, with a finish that hints at plum jam with a hint of clove.

Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 50% with a volume of 0.7 l. We recommend serving at room temperature for full development of aroma and flavor.
