Meukow VSOP Borderies is a smooth and elegant cognac from the Borderies cru – the smallest, yet very distinctive appellation in the Cognac region. The hue is golden with mahogany reflections and offers a complex profile ideal for genuine enjoyment as well as a base in cocktails.

This VSOP cognac is the result of double distillation of spirits (“eaux-de-vie”) sourced exclusively from the Borderies cru. Aging takes place in Limousin oak barrels – a traditional method that enhances the natural complexity of the drink. The entire process is carefully managed by the cellar master, who ensures the preservation of typical almond, fruity, and spicy notes.

The aroma opens with citrus and candied oranges, smoothly transitioning into a heart full of hazelnuts and walnuts. The finish offers subtle spices and dried fruits, complementing the overall experience of a gently sweet yet robust cognac.

The Meukow brand was founded in 1862 by the Meukow brothers in Cognac and quickly established itself as a supplier of cognacs to the imperial court. It gained worldwide fame through the iconic bottle adorned with a black panther – a symbol of courage and elegance.
