The brand's history dates back to 1850, when Auguste-Christophe and Gustav Meukow, two brothers from Silesia, were sent to France by Russian Tsar Alexander II. with the order to secure a supply of cognac. After several voyages, they decided to establish a trading office in the town of Cognac and founded the Meukow brand on August 1st 1862.
The company grew very quickly from the very beginning, and today Meukow is distributed in over 80 countries worldwide. It is perfect for various special occasions or as a gift.
