The history of the brand dates back to 1850, when Auguste-Christophe and Gustav Meukow, two brothers from Silesia, were sent to France by Russian Tsar Alexander II. with an order to secure the supply of cognac. After several voyages, they decided to establish a sales office in Cognac, and in August 1, 1862, they established the Meukow brand.
The company has grown very fast from the very beginning and today Meukow is distributed in more than 80 countries around the world. Great for a variety of special occasions or as a gift.
