Pierre Ferrand Sélection des Anges
Pierre Ferrand Sélection des Anges is a quality 30-year-old cognac , which matured in oak barrels with slow evaporation, while the best tastes and aromas were concentrated in it. For centuries, alcohol, which evaporates during maturation, is known as the angel tax. Thus, when, after three decades of maturation and evaporation, only a small amount remained in the barrels of this cognac, it was given the distinctive name "Selection of Angels" (Sélection des Anges).
Luxurious 30-year-old cognac from the Grande Champagne region, such as Pierre Ferrand Selection des Anges, should be enjoyed separately from tulip glasses or traditional glasses. Adding a drop of water will help the cognac develop its floral tones.
