Pierre Ferrand Sélection des Anges is a quality 30-year-old cognac that matured in oak barrels through slow evaporation, concentrating the finest flavors and aromas. For centuries, the alcohol that evaporates during aging has been known as the angel's share. Thus, after three decades of aging and evaporation, only a small amount remained in the barrels with this cognac, earning it the fitting name "selection of angels" (Sélection des Anges).
This luxurious 30-year-old cognac from the Grande Champagne region, like Pierre Ferrand Selection des Anges, should be enjoyed neat from tulip glasses or traditional snifters. Adding a drop of water will help the cognac develop its floral notes.
