Whisky released in 2004. It matures in oak barrels and finishes in quarter casks for several months. Quarter casks are relatively small, with a volume of 125 liters, so the maturation of the whisky does not require such a long time. And it is this maturation of the whisky that brought Laphroaig success.
Aroma: oily and buttery, with notes of caramel, nuts, accented by rum, raisins, ice cream, and citrus peel
Taste: very sweet with fiery chili, sweet grains, and a hint of cola syrup
Finish: medium-long, fruity with traces of pudding and cigar smoke
