Description
Finlaggan Port Finished is a superb smoky Scottish single malt whisky from the Isle of Islay.
It was distilled using traditional methods and aged in oak barrels, which were later transferred for finishing in port wine casks. The whisky has a rich amber color and a smooth velvety texture. The aroma reveals sweet notes of peaty smoke, smoked bacon, and fresh summer fruits. This transitions into the taste, where even sweeter and smokier peaty notes come to the forefront along with fresh raspberries, strawberries, and an old-school hint of aged leather.
