Glen Scotia 9 Year Old Festival Release 2024
The annual limited edition festival bottles are interesting, bold and appeal to those who want to be wonderfully surprised. This year's release - the Glen Scotia 9 Year Old Festival Release 2024 is no exception: a charmingly unconventional, whisky fit for a shared celebration.
The Campbeltown Malts Festival is a celebration of the region's whisky riches. Every May, the few distilleries that have endured step away from their stills to fully open their doors to the local community and visitors from far and wide. For the staff at Glen Scotia, it's the most popular and anticipated time of the year, the time when they release their annual whisky festival limited release.
The whisky is matured in oak first-fill ex-bourbon casks for 8,5 years. It was then matured for 6 months in ex-sherry Fino casks.
The whisky is unfiltered, untainted and bottled at 56,2 % alcohol. The bottle capacity is 0,7 l and comes in a beautiful gift box.
The visual of the bottle is a unique experience on the packaging. In 2024, Glen Scotia is once again delighted to bring a taste of the festival to the homes of fans around the world.
