Glen Scotia 9 Year Old Festival Release 2024
Annual festival bottles in limited edition are intriguing, bold, and appeal to those who want to be wonderfully surprised. This year's release - Glen Scotia 9 Year Old Festival Release 2024 is no exception: charmingly unconventional, a whisky suitable for a shared celebration.
Campbeltown Malts Festival is a celebration of the richness of the whisky region. Every May, the few distilleries that have endured step away from their distilleries to fully open their doors to the local community and visitors from afar. For the team at Glen Scotia, this is the most beloved and anticipated moment of the year, the time when they release their annual festival limited edition whisky.
The whisky matured in oak first-fill ex-bourbon casks for 8.5 years. It then aged for 6 months in ex-sherry Fino casks.
The whisky is unfiltered, undyed, and bottled at 56.2% alcohol by volume. The bottle volume is 0.7 l and it comes in beautiful gift boxes.
The bottle's visual is a unique experience in packaging. In 2024, Glen Scotia is once again pleased to bring the taste of the festival to fans' homes around the world. Scan the QR code on the packaging and join author and host Neil Ridley in Campbeltown as he collaborates with music producer Dean Honer and musician Jenny Sturgeon to use sounds from a working distillery to create a unique musical piece.
