Glen Scotia 46 Year Old
A luxury limited edition 46-year-old Scotch whisky from the world-famous Glen Scotia distillery. It is the oldest whisky ever made by distilleries. Only 150 individually numbered and labeled bottles were produced!
The whiskey was originally matured in very old ex-bourbon barrels, from which it was subsequently poured into first-filled ex-bourbon barrels. Finally, she matured in a first-filled ex-sherry Oloroso Hogshead barrel. The combination of these barrels created a perfect whiskey with an irresistible aroma of fruit and tones of caramel, cinnamon and apples.
It is a window into the past of the distillery, which will tell you the hardships and history of whisky from Campbeltown. On the occasion of the remake of this whisky specialty, Iain McAlister invited the writer and friend Dave Broom to the distillery, who had the honor of tasting this whisky for the first time with Ian.
For perfect taste and beautiful aroma, we recommend serving uncooled and without water and ice. The bottle is located in a beautiful wooden gift box with a universal side opening. Cheers!
