Glen Scotia 46 Year Old
Fill up your tasting glass and take your experience to the next level!
Luxury limited edition Scottish 46-year-old whisky from the world-renowned distillery Glen Scotia. This is the oldest whisky ever produced by the distillery. Only 150 bottles have been individually numbered and labeled!
The whisky originally matured in very old ex-bourbon casks, from which it was then transferred to first-fill ex-bourbon casks. Finally, it aged in a single first-fill ex-sherry Oloroso Hogshead cask. The combination of these casks resulted in a perfect whisky with an irresistible aroma of fruit and notes of caramel, cinnamon, and apples.
It is a window into the past of the distillery, revealing the struggles and history of whisky from Campbeltown. For the occasion of presenting this whisky specialty, Iain McAlister invited writer and friend Dave Broom to the distillery, who had the honor of tasting this whisky for the first time alongside Ian.
For the perfect taste and beautiful aroma, we recommend serving it neat and without water or ice. The bottle comes in a beautiful wooden gift box with a universal side opening. Cheers!
