Giusti Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore DOC
Italian Red Dry Wine Giusti Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore DOC, made from 70% Corvina Veronese grapes along with Corvinone and 30% Rondinella grapes, from the hilly areas of the Valpolicella wine region, Verona, Veneto.
It is produced using traditional methods in stainless steel tanks. In accordance with the ancient "Ripasso" technique, it fermented on the skins of Amarone grapes. The wine aged for 12 months in oak barrels and an additional 6 months in the bottle until the right time for it to reach wine lovers.
Color: ruby red – with further aging it turns into garnet
Aroma: intense with notes of spices and red fruits
Taste: velvety with light and elegant tannins
It pairs excellently with braised meat in red wine, pappardelle pasta with ragù, and aged cheese.
It is recommended to open this wine at least half an hour to an hour before drinking. Serve at a temperature of 18 - 20 °C.
Store in a cool place away from light and heat sources.
