Choose the right glasses and cheese delicacies to perfectly complement its flavour.
Giusti Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico 2019 is a prestigious Italian red wine from the hilly regions of the Valpolicella Classica area. It is made from a traditional blend of Corvina Veronese, Corvinone (80 %) and Rondinella (20 %), with grapes harvested exclusively by hand.
Only the highest quality bunches are used for this wine, which are dried for 3 to 4 months in small baskets after harvesting. This is followed by a 30 – 40 day maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine then ages for 24 months in oak barrels and an additional 6 months in the bottle, gaining its complexity and elegance.
The wine has a transparent garnet red color. The bouquet is intense and rich, with notes of blackberries, plums, dried violets, and roses, complemented by balsamic nuances of nocino liqueur, sweet licorice, vanilla, cinnamon, menthol cocoa, and subtle spices.
The taste is balanced, harmonious, and elegant, with present yet smooth tannins and a long finish, typical of quality Amarone.
Giusti Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico 2019 pairs excellently with steaks, braised meats, or aged cheeses. The recommended serving temperature is 18 – 20 °C. The wine should be opened at least 30 minutes before serving to fully develop its aroma.
Store the wine in a cool place away from light and heat sources. Due to its structure and aging, it has excellent aging potential and is an ideal choice as a luxury gift for lovers of Italian wines.
The wine is delivered in a gift wooden case of 6 x 0.75 l.
