The name Indigo is inspired by the Mayan goddess of fertility Tlaloc and the indigo color, symbolizing harmony and eternity.
Rum ages for 8 years in American white oak bourbon barrels, in the tropical climate of the fertile Cihuatán valley. This allows it to retain a gentle sweetness, depth, and complexity. Its style is harmonious, full of fruit, vanilla, and spice, yet fresh and easy to drink.
The aroma opens with notes of caramel, roasted almonds, orange peel, dried fruit, and a hint of vanilla.
