The blend for Cihuatán Artesano Pineapple is made from rums that have been aged for at least 10 years in ex-bourbon barrels, ensuring a complex flavor profile.
A two-month infusion with pieces of an exceptionally fruity pineapple variety (Golden Pineapple) from Santa María Ostuma, a small community in the heart of El Salvador, adds a fruity pineapple flavor to the blend.
On the palate, this bottle from Cihuatán is slightly creamy and balanced sweet with notes of caramelized pineapple and vanilla. No artificial flavors are used in the production to ensure an authentic tasting experience.
