Chateau Selešťany Dulovica Discontinued

The true fruit distillate Chateau Selešťany Dulovica made from quince apples, which is one of the real rarities in distillate production.

Quinces are among the types of fruit known for being grown without chemical protection. The fruits of the quince can be pear-shaped or apple-shaped, colored yellow. The aroma of the fruit is strongly aromatic and the taste is tart and sour.

Dulovica has a unique aroma accompanied by a hint of citrus. The taste opens with a fruit-typical tartness, which gradually resembles a mix of jam and compote, with hints of cinnamon and sweet wood in the aftertaste. The texture is smooth and, depending on the ripeness, even silky.

When preparing quality mash for distillate, one must account for high labor intensity, a longer fermentation period, and lower yield.

The distillate was bottled with an alcohol content of 52 % and the bottle volume is 0.5l.
