BVD Borovička Oak Aged 6 Years

The first exceptional Slovak borovička from the BVD distillery in a special edition, which aged for a long 6 years in ex-red wine oak barrels. During this time, there was a slight evaporation of alcohol through the pores of the wooden barrel. The cost of aging in these barrels is called angel's tax (Angel's Share).

It is handcrafted, without alcohol, artificial colors, and aromas. This is a premium and the very first Slovak distillate from borovička and grain that has aged! It was distilled in 2015 from carefully hand-picked and sorted juniper berries and grain distillate.

This is a limited edition and only 777 pieces were produced! A new batch will be released only once every 6 years! The borovička is presented in a very nice bottle with a volume of 0.5 l, featuring an aluminum label.
