Caffé Vergnano Espresso 1000 g
Caffè Vergnano Espresso is a harmonious medium roast coffee blend that combines approximately 80 – 85% Arabica and 15 – 20% Robusta. This ratio creates a balanced coffee with a full body, a delicate creamy texture and a medium caffeine content. The beans are roasted using traditional Italian methods, which guarantees a rich flavour without excessive bitterness and with only a very subtle acidity. This coffee has an intensity rating of 7 out of 10, making it the ideal choice for everyday espresso.
The flavour profile is dominated by notes of chocolate, caramel and delicate nuts, often complemented by hints of tobacco, biscuits and sometimes fruity or spicy undertones. The coffee has a full body and produces a long-lasting, thick crema, typical of a high-quality Italian espresso. It is ideal not only for preparing classic espresso, but also for milk drinks such as cappuccino, latte macchiato and flat white – it retains its characteristic flavour even under a layer of milk foam.
The coffee is packaged in a vacuum-sealed 1000 g package, which ensures freshness and aroma down to the last bean. When stored correctly in a cool, dry place, it will retain its quality for up to 24 months. Thanks to its versatile character, it is suitable for espresso machines, moka pots and automatic machines, appealing to anyone looking for a classic Italian espresso with a subtle hint of elegance.
Caffè Vergnano Espresso comes from the Caffè Vergnano roastery, the oldest family-owned roastery in Italy, founded in 1882 in Chieri near Turin. The coffee is still roasted today in Santena in the Piedmont region using the traditional slow roasting method, where each origin of coffee beans is roasted separately to achieve maximum balance of flavours. Production and packaging are carried out directly by the Vergnano family business, which maintains full control over quality while working with selected distributors around the world.
