Octomore 14.1 is distilled from 100% Scottish mainland barley and peated at 128.9 PPM, just as young and dynamic as its predecessors.
Character 14.1, which is the foundation of the 14th edition of the Octomore series, offers the necessary comparison from which the other expressions derive and evolve.
The base of this latest series presents a delicate and complex balance between smoke, malt, cask, and maturation - resulting in a versatile drinking experience. Whisky 14.1, which aged for 5 years in American whiskey casks with first fill, showcases the strength and potential of its core ingredients.
On the nose, sweet caramel and vanilla open up, while bright citrus notes cut through the distinctive Octomore smoke - highlighted by roasted coffee and subtle spices.
Bottles are filled at an alcohol content of 59.6% with a volume of 0.7 l. They are delivered in gift tubes.
