It is distilled from 100% Scottish barley. It exhibits a refined strength of character, balancing smooth vanilla cream and sweet charred oak with intoxicating peaty smoke.

The whisky, in which the deep influence of intense peaty smoke is evident, matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon casks and re-charred bourbon casks, carefully extracting as much character from the wood as possible.

The result is a raw and uncompromising single malt whisky that demonstrates the refined strength of Octomore's character, balancing delicate vanilla cream and sweet charred oak with intoxicating peaty smoke.
