Ardnamurchan Single Malt
The team at the Ardnamurchan distillery has made significant progress with their single malt compared to previous batch releases, and this latest AD/ single malt represents a fantastic leap into the future. Individual malts from Ardnamurchan Distillery have been released with a numerical code over the past 2 years, indicating the month and year the batch was produced. Now that the whisky profile has been established through several releases, the numerical coding has been dropped, and the whisky is simply called AD/.
The character remains unchanged: the whisky is made from 50:50 peated/unpeated malt – distillate, so it is essentially a medium-peated whisky. 65% matured in ex-bourbon casks and 35% matured in ex-sherry casks. The whisky has not been chill-filtered and has not been colored.
Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 46.8% with a volume of 0.7 l and come in gift boxes.
