Ardbeg Smoketrails The Ultimate Manzanilla Edition is a whisky that explores the influence of different casks from around the world on the classic single malt whisky from the Isle of Islay.
In this edition, whisky matured in Manzanilla sherry casks from Sanlúcar de Barrameda in Spain is paired with malt from Ardbeg's classic American oak casks.
More than 200 years ago, in 1815, Ardbeg was founded on the unassuming Scottish island of Islay. Ardbeg whisky is characterised by its distinctive peatiness and a hint of sea breeze. The whisky has been described by connoisseurs as being so close to perfection as to be indistinguishable from perfection.
Bottles are bottled at 46 % alcohol with a volume of 1 l.
