Ardbeg 25 Year Old 2022 Edition

This Ardbeg Edition 2022 from the famous Ardbeg distillery has been aged for 25 years in ex-bourbon casks. It's the oldest ever addition to the distillery's core range, and it came into cask during a period that was problematic for the distillery.

The oldest whisky to be introduced to the Ardbeg core range. This top whisky proves beyond doubt that age cannot tame the raw, smoky power of Ardbeg whiskies. It can, however, deliver some of the most complex and spectacular flavours ever created by this Islay distillery.

Bottled from incredibly rare casks filled during the distillery's darkest days, this Ardbeg whisky is at its most complex, balanced and seductive. This release is not chilled and is 46 % ABV.

Ardbeg 2022 is a smoky malt whisky with layers of sweetness that was matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled in 2021.

The nose is full of cream, smoke, peppermint, caramel, fennel, pine resin, earthy fires and ripe banana, and is complemented by notes of white pepper, sherbet lemons, candied apples and oranges.

The bottles have a capacity of 0,7 l and come in gift boxes.
