Ardbeg 25 Year Old 2022 Edition

This release of the 2022 Ardbeg Edition from the famous Ardbeg distillery has matured 25 years in ex-bourbon casks. It is the oldest addition to the distillery's core range and was filled during a challenging time for the distillery.

The oldest whisky to be included in Ardbeg's core range. This premium whisky undoubtedly proves that age cannot tame the raw, smoky power of Ardbeg whisky. However, it can bring some of the most complex and remarkable flavors ever created by this distillery on the Islay island.

This Ardbeg whisky, bottled from incredibly rare casks filled during the darkest days of the distillery, is the most complex, balanced, and seductive. This release is non-chill filtered and has an ABV of 46 %.

Ardbeg 2022 is a smoky single malt whisky with layers of sweetness, matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled in 2021.

The aroma is full of cream, smoke, peppermint, caramel, fennel, pine resin, earthy fires, and ripe bananas, complemented by notes of white pepper, lemon sorbet, candied apples, and oranges.

Bottles have a volume of 0.7 l and are delivered in gift boxes.
