The Ardbeg Anthology collection is inspired by tales of incredible encounters - legendary encounters with the strangest creatures ever said to haunt the island of Islay. Ardbeg 13 Year Old Anthology The Harpy's Tale is a unique single malt whisky with a great flavour and story to tell.

This legendary release is inspired by the rarely seen Harpy - a winged woman who is said to inhabit Islay - and is the distillery's first release. The Harpy's Tale was matured for 13 years in rare Sauternes wine casks and was paired with a classic Ardbeg ex-bourbon cask.

After more than a decade in cask, the smoke turns to sweetness as the unmistakable character of Ardbeg combines with the richness of Sauternes casks. A superb mature expression, the flavour is almost as sensational as the story.

An unfiltered whisky with an alcohol content of 46 %. The bottles have a volume of 0,7 l.
