Yellow Spot 12 Year Old

The big brother of the cult Green Spot whiskey, is the Yellow Spot 12 Year Old. It matures in barrels of three types: bourbon, Spanish sherry and Spanish Malaga.

This is an excellent, sophisticated and complex drink. The sweetness of the first sip lingers for a long time, accompanied by a juicy blend of flavors of red wine, fruit, vanilla, cinnamon, and malt. The contrast of sweetness and tannins, complemented by light notes of spicy oak, exceptionally completes the wonderfully rich, silky, and full flavor.

Only a limited number of 6000 bottles of Yellow Spot are produced each year. They usually sell out domestically, so it is rarely available to purchase anywhere other than Ireland.

The flavor of the whiskey does not surprise us; the aroma already hints that a true festival of flavors awaits us in the mouth. The initial honey sweetness and spiciness smoothly give way to a full spectrum of flavors, with notes of freshly ground coffee in the depth, creamy milk chocolate and crème brûlée on the palate, vanilla, cinnamon, red apples, tropical fruit, and charred oak. Thanks to the extra alcohol content, the flavor is exclusively full and rich.

Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 40% with a volume of 0.7 l. They are delivered in stylish gift tubes.
