Midleton, a brand synonymous with the annual release of Midleton Very Rare whiskey and limited editions of Midleton Single Pot Still, added in 2011 its first permanent whiskey Single Pot Still.
The whiskey Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy, named after the renowned second-generation Master Distiller of Midleton, represents a selection of pot still whiskeys that matured exclusively in casks that previously held American bourbon with a subtle contribution of pot still distillate aged in unprocessed American casks.
This pinnacle of the Single Pot Still range, Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy, marks the first instance since John Jameson when a product from an Irish distillery was named after a master distiller.
Single Pot Still whiskey is unique to Ireland in general and to Midleton Distillery, Co. Cork, in particular, and is considered the quintessence of Irish whiskey. Pot Still whiskey, made from malted and unmalted barley and then triple distilled in traditional copper pot stills, is characterized by a full, complex flavor and an amazing creamy mouthfeel.
This whiskey, which has so far won over 30 significant awards, is a true embodiment of its name.
Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 46% with a volume of 0.7 l. They are presented in beautiful gift boxes.
